What steps are you taking to make my session safe?
A new state-of-the art medical grade air purifier cleanses the air down to .1 micros, with 6x/hour circulation - which research shows to be a potent guard against possible COVID transmission.
I’ll be wearing a medical-grade mask, a face shield and apron, which I change between sessions.
All clients wear masks while in the office.
Thorough surface cleaning is done before and after all sessions.
How will my session be different?
Both you and I will be wearing masks while you are in the office. This will take some adjustment, as the emotional connection that’s so important in our work tends to be affected by masks.
Therefore, I am integrating pre- and post-session Zoom video consults into the work, which will both minimize our time together in the office without sacrificing the body-centered coaching and counseling aspects of our sessions that are so valuable for bringing you the results that you're looking for.
I'm concerned. Can I have a satisfying session while wearing a mask?
Absolutely – just bring a mask you’re comfortable wearing. Direct work on mouth and facial muscles can be done through fabric, as I’ve done for years, and the yogic breath work we use to support tension release and rebalancing can be modified in ways that are integrated into the session.
What about you? Can I trust that you’ll be comfortable during our session?
Yes you can. I’ve taken lots of time to research how to adjust my practice to be safe and effective for myself and my clients before re-opening - so I'm ready to work with the same level of client-centered care that I'm commited to. And – with 32 years of experience working with all kinds of challenging conditions, I’ve had a lot of practice in adapting the ways I work to meet the requirements of the moment. As always - if I don’t think I am the best person for you to be working with, I will tell you.
